Presentation Abstract
After partnering with Georgia State to improve North Metro's Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, our program saw a need to create an easy and streamlined way for our teachers to write these FBA and BIPs for our students. North Metro consists of three different counties, each with their own Behavior Plan template. The new process has allowed all three of our counties to use the same templates, creating consistency across the program. In an effort to make sure that teachers and support staff were implementing the written BIPs effectively, I created a BIP fidelity report that is to be used once per semester in each classroom during regular walkthroughs. The fidelity report checks on each section of the Behavior Intervention Plan being used in the classroom: Antecedent Modifications; Replacement Behaviors and Consequences Strategies.
