Proposal
Since the Association of College & Research Libraries Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education has been in place, many articles have been written and many conference presentations have been made on librarian-faculty collaboration to teach the content of the Framework. What other initiatives to teach and promote the Framework are being utilized besides or in addition to collaboration? A survey is being conducted to ascertain what additional efforts have been used to further educate faculty and students about the Framework. By employing several types of methods to promote and teach the Framework, expanded outreach across the university may be accomplished even to faculty who do not regularly collaborate with librarians and even to students who do not regularly use the university library. Results of this study, as well as a literature review, that reflects the types of promotional and educational tools being used, will be presented.
