Georgia Public Broadcasting's Education Division is uniquely positioned to support educators through our state-of-the-art production facility, cutting-edge digital media division, and partnerships with Discovery Education and PBS LearningMedia.
Participants will navigate platforms hosting thousands of free digital resources focused on information, media, and technology literacy for the 21st century including documentaries, active lesson ideas, instructional and assessment strategies, as well as opportunities for extension.
Presentation Description
Participants will become familiar will digital resources from hosting platforms PBS LearningMedia and Discovery Education designed to teach digital literacy in the 21st century. As an active session, participants will learn to navigate sites, quickly find useful resources, and leave with strategies for implementation.
