Short Description
The recursive, holistic process of research and writing presented by writing center professionals and teaching librarians build information literacy and promotes life-long learning in students. This panel will discuss the common information literacy issues both a college writing center director and high school English teacher and media specialist share. The writing center director will discuss how she helps students to bridge the gap, and the media specialist will offer a collaborative solution that will better prepare students to successfully execute the research/writing process in postsecondary assignments.
