Biography of Interviewee

William Strong b. 1947 was reared on Tybee Island, GA. He attended parochial schools in Savannah including Benedictine High School and Armstrong State College starting in 1965 and after several hiatus, graduating in 1983. While at Armstrong Strong started Albion’s Voice, an alternative/underground newspaper inspired his work with Atlanta’s Great Speckled Bird. Strong edited Albion’s Voice for all six issues, published in 1970 in Savannah, Ga.
