Abstract

Based on a study of first-time first-year composition (FYC) instructors examining their feedback given via an online review database, and their students’ reported perceptions of success, this presentation offers best practices for training FYC instructors to integrate tech-knowledge to enhance the FYC classroom, and tips to incorporate retention strategies.
