Abstract

This session explores using guided peer conferences—conferences with two students, facilitated by the professor—as a means of responding to student writing, encouraging student camaraderie, and building editorial and leadership skills. Through demonstration and discussion, participants examine this approach through the lens of their teaching goals and student demographics.
