This session reviews a research project examining writing assignments FYC students at Kennesaw State University describe as meaningful and engaging. The presentation draws from the study’s findings to identify qualities most likely to engage FYC students, and the presenter offers strategies for incorporating engaging work qualities into FYC assignments.
