Presentation Description
This presentation will focus on a pilot project using Interwrite PRS clickertechnology as a means of evaluating student learning in a library one-shot BI session. Four librarians at the University of Mississippi created a library session for students enrolled in EDLD 101, Academic Skills for College. The goal of the study was twofold: 1) to determine if clicker technology was a useful active learning tool for enhancing student engagement in a library session, and 2) to collaborate with faculty to integrate information literacy skills into a curriculum for students on academic probation. This presentation will detail the ups and downs of the project.
