Brief Description of Presentation
A panel presentation composed of undergraduate Mass Communication major students of Savannah State University will discuss and provide insight into various social media platforms and implementation that affect educational foundations and practices. The panel will discuss media theory and application in correlation to social media platforms. Social media trends and forecasting of affects and implementations as it relates to multi-media and civic engagement strategy will also be addressed and discussed.
Abstract of Proposal
Media analysis insight into various social media platforms and implementation that affect educational foundations and practices are explored. The outcomes of media theory and application in correlation to social media platforms are assessed to provide further understanding of social media trends and forecasting of affects and implementations as it relates to multi-media interaction platforms and civic engagement strategy. The media analysis application assessment explores social media platforms to promote ethics of social media, blogging, and websites. Furthermore the uses of social media to promote information & awareness of significant historical events are explored as well. Lastly, the perspectives of effective reciprocal communication are evaluated in connection to commonly used social media platforms.
