Among the topics Dr. Mabry wrote about are Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poetry, William Key’s The Battle of Atlanta and the Georgia Campaign, Kennesaw Mountain, Camp Andersonville, Georgia’s connection to Europe, and recollections of World War II. The postscript to this collection is an autobiographical piece, also published in the Statesboro Herald.
